Spaces for social innovation in indigenous communities: An approach from the STEAM methodology and the Social and Solidarity Economy

Resumen

Resumen. La educación, al ser un pilar para el desarrollo de una nación, se considera prioritaria, tanto en la Agenda 2030 de la ONU a través de la ODS4 como a nivel nacional, siendo eje en los Plan de Desarrollo y como uno de las 10 iniciativas prioritarias del CONAHCYT a través de los Programas Estratégicos Nacionales (PRONACES). Por lo cual, surge este proyecto cuyo objetivo es la construcción de un espacio STEAM; para el fomento de ciencia, tecnología e innovación social, en alumnos de la telesecundaria y telebachillerato comunitario, con el fin de fortalecer las actividades de la NODESS: Red de Conocimiento Sustentable de la comisaría de Dzityá en Mérida, Yucatán. Se concluye, que la aportación técnica y científicas de los actores involucrados puede ayudar a desarrollar competencias que tendrá un impacto positivo en la siguientes generaciones de los habitantes más jovenes del dicha comunidad.

Abstract. Education, being a pillar for the development of a nation, is considered a priority, both in the 2030 Agenda of the UN through the SDG4 and at the national level, being an axis in the Development Plan and as one of the 10 priority initiatives of CONAHCYT through the National Strategic Programs (PRONACES). Therefore, this project arises whose objective is the construction of a STEAM space; for the promotion of science, technology and social innovation, in students of the telesecondary and community telebaccaureate, in order to strengthen the activities of the NODESS: Sustainable Knowledge Network of the Dzityá police station in Mérida, Yucatan. It is concluded that the technical and scientific contribution of the involved actors can help develop skills that will have a positive impact on the next generations of the youngest inhabitants of that community.
